It was a touchy start on Saturday for the final round of the Bayleys Bay of Plenty BOP Cup - especially in Rotorua where Geyser City and Lake Taupo couldn’t escape the rain.
A massive 214 run win against Papamoa wasn’t enough for Te Puke to make it into the finals.
Iman Singh took the Papamoa bowlers head on, closing the first innings with a score of 105*. While Josh Earle (61*) watched Singh from the non-striker's end hit a 4 to end the 49th over.
Earle went on to open the bowling for Te Puke, taking his first wicket by the end of the 7th over and claiming the wickets of 2 other Papamoa players, only going for 25 runs.
While Ben Roborgh added 4 to the tally, ending up with figures of 4-21.

Over at Pemberton Park, Greerton managed to come away with a winning draw against Tauranga Boys putting them into the Final. For Tauranga Boys, although they conceded a losing draw, they managed to make history, securing themselves a spot in the final for the first time ever.

Down the road at Blake Park, Otumoetai Cadets came out on top against Mount Maunganui.
Batting the full 60 overs, meant Mount Maunganui weren’t able to use extra overs to chase down the cadets total of 210.
With 1.2 overs to spare, Cadets managed to bowl Mount Maunganui out for 164.
