CRAIGS INVESTMENT PARTNERS Bay of Plenty to Meet Archrivals Hamilton in Fergus Hickey Action

The Craigs Investment Partners Bay of Plenty senior representative side will play Hamilton in a Fergus Hickey Rosebowl two-day (23/24 January 2021) fixture, in their second two-day game of the season.

Bay of Plenty will take a strong lineup into the Fergus Hickey match-up, with Northern Knights skipper Joe Carter along with fellow team members Bharat Popli and Brett Hampton included in the Bay team,

A notable addition to the Bay of Plenty team is Nic Hendrie, who has smacked a avalanche of runs in Baywide cricket in the past couple of seasons, including a rare treble of a century in the three forms of the game last season.

Bay of Plenty Coach Daniel Flynn said “Hamilton always produce a strong side which will give us a good test. It will be a great chance for some of our younger guys to step up and perform against quality opposition”.

“The team has been tracking well this season with good first innings win against Northland in our first Fergus Hickey match”. “Last weekend we lost a extremely close encounter against Hawkes Bay, with our top six batsmen getting quality time in the middle and the bowlers getting plenty of overs under their belt”.
