After winning the toss and deciding to bat, Bay soon found themselves in strife at 1/1. Marcel Collett and Blair McKenzie came together to form a partnership of 64 and put the home side in a solid position. A quick succession of wickets saw saw the home side looking to defend 158 against a strong Hamilton batting line up.

Greerton Coach, Anish Desai led the way for Hamilton, scoring the lion's share of runs with 63 off 65 balls and paved the way for Hamilton to chase down the total in the 43rd over with 4 wickets in hand.

Liam Collett and Craig Baldry were the pick of the bowlers with two apiece.
